Offers, Counter-offers, and socks

I’ve been a bit tardy on the posts as of late.  We’ve been busy with the house-selling stuff, as we finally got our first offer at the end of last week.  Unfortunately, it was much lower than we’d like, as our list price was actually out of the buyer’s range.  Let’s call it a long-shot offer that they thought we’d be REALLY desperate to sell—we’re not.  We did counter-offer, but it’s not going anywhere.  Oh well, the first one is under our belt.

I’ve completed knitting of the Beady Bed Socks and am now seaming them.  I should have the project summary post up tomorrow.  I also started the Muir Shawl from Knitty Fall 2007 (some real lace knitting).  I have a feeling I won’t be completing that as quickly as the socks.

  1. Ugh, hope you sell the house quickly for the price you want! I know how frustrating that can be!
