Knitting too much?

Well, it appears that I’ve succeeded in knitting too much over the last couple of weeks.  This theory is based on the fact that every time I start knitting on some project, I start to feel a painful knot just off my left shoulder blade.  I get up, I walk around, stretch—it doesn’t seem to help.  So, it looks like I need to get back to the stained glass to give myself a break.  In the meantime, here’s the update on my current projects.

Kato socks – still have the second sock to go.  Poor guy—he keeps getting bumped!

Warm Winter Exchange – Finished knitting for this secret pal; just waiting for a delivery next week so I can ship the box.

Harlow coat – I finished the left front panel this week.  I’ve still got the right front panel, and two sleeves to knit up.

Lizard Ridge afghan– yes, this is a new one.  What am I doing to myself?!  I’ve been toying with starting this project since I first saw it on Knitty (pattern here) and I found myself shopping for Noro Kureyon while I was out at a couple of my LYS’s this week.  Now it’s turned into this all-out obsession to find the best price per ball (eBay is my friend), even though this is fully intended to be a long-term project.  I knitted up the first two squares to see how the pattern worked—it’s pretty cool, actually.  The left photo is #40 and the right is #92.

I think I’ll hide my knitting needles from myself today.
