Schild Estate, 2005 Barossa Shiraz. At $16.99 from Costco, it’s a screaming deal for a wine that was ranked #16 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines list for 2007.

Hey Sis: Drank a great 2005 Sauvignon Blanc from Geyser Peak Winery of California. I’m not usually a huge fan of the Sauv Blanc but sure liked this one. Here is a link to more info on it:

Thanks for the tip! Funny you mentioned Geyser Peak, because we just had a bottle of the 2004 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon last night and enjoyed it. I’ll keep an eye out for it!
